The Deutz Brut Rosé is made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The Pinot Noir crus are indicative of the noble origin of the grapes: exclusively from Aÿ and Bouzy, terroirs that bring out both the subtlety and power of the fine Pinot Noirs. This champagne’s distinctive style and colour are the result of the addition to the blend of a 9% proportion of fine Pinot Noir red wine, produced by Deutz from parcels of old vines, including “La Pelle”, growing on the Aÿ hillside. The lovely balance of this gorgeous champagne is in perfect keeping with previous Deutz vintage champagnes. It would be inconceivable not to serve this champagne as an aperitif. However, the Brut Rosé Vintage 2010 will also pair perfectly with duck with cranberries, pigeon with cherries, or even beef en croute. It can be enjoyed with a dessert, such as a “Mikado” pastry puff with Gariguettes strawberries. It will be sublime with Asian dishes such as skewers of Yakitori or Ebisu, or with the iodine flesh of certain types of sushi and sashimi.
This wine comes packed in a wooden box.
